Survivor, Volunteer and Expo areas open 6:00 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Awards will be presented in 5K competitive race to: Overall Top Female and Male, and Top Three Breast Cancer Survivors, as well as Masters and Senior Masters. Link to listing of all timed runners available within one week after Race at www.komengreaterfortworth.org
Please plan to arrive early to allow plenty of time to park and enjoy the expo area. Allow ample time for possible traffic delays and parking entrance lines in the area due to the high volume of vehicles headed to the venue.
Weather conditions are unpredictable and it may be hot and humid on Race morning. Participants should arrive and remain properly hydrated and be prepared to run/walk 5K (3.1 miles) on paved venue streets.
RAIN OR SHINE
The Komen Greater Fort Worth Race for the Cure will occur rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In the event, there will be no refunds; rather, your entry fee will be considered a donation to the Komen Greater Fort Worth Race for the Cure.
FOR YOUR SAFETY
For the safety of all participants, in-line skates and pets will NOT be allowed on the course. Strollers, baby joggers and wagons are permitted, but you are asked to go to the back of the line for you and other participants safety. Thank you for your cooperation.
New and returning volunteers are encouraged to get involved. The first 300 volunteers to arrive on Race Day will receive a T-shirt in appreciation for their efforts. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed and parking is not included.
