TYPES OF RACE REGISTRATION
Walk the route at your own pace with as many of your friends and family members as you like—the more the merrier! The atmosphere on the route is fun and celebratory with cheering crowds and the beautiful view of the Trinity River. Whether you’ll be challenging the lead runners or jogging at your own pace, the Susan G. Komen Greater Fort Worth Race for the Cure® has something for everyone. Starting and ending at Clearfork, you’ll run a well-marked, scenic 5K route lined with cheering spectators. It’s fun, celebratory and truly inspirational. Click here to register. You’ll find an incredible community of survivors and co-survivors at the Susan G. Komen Greater Fort Worth Race for the Cure®. Survivors and co-survivors gather to celebrate and support one another in an atmosphere of genuine camaraderie. It is their inspiring spirit that energizes us to continue the fight to end breast cancer forever. All breast cancer survivors (who choose to indicate as such at the time of registration) will receive a special pink Race bib as well as a pink Race T-shirt and hat. Click here to register.
On Race Day, survivors will be:
- Welcomed into the Survivor Tent to enjoy a snack after the Race and pick up a special Survivor goody bag.
- Invited to participate in a special survivor photo before the Race at 7:30 am.

Kids for the Cure®
Kids are an important part of our lives. They have a special place in the Susan G. Komen Greater Fort Worth Race for the Cure®. When kids ages 0-17 register as Kids for the Cure®, they’ll receive their very own Race T-shirt and official Race bib and be eligible to race in the 5k or 1mile race. Competitive Kids for the Cure will have a chance to be timed in the 5k event. On Race Day, we’ll have a Kids for the Cure® Village with special activities including face painting and clowns. Parents/guardians — before you register: If you are registering to participate, you may add your kids to your registration during that process. Click here to register.
Paws for the Cure
Now you can walk the route at your own pace with your dog! A special bandana for your pooch will be provided. Leash and shot records are required. Sleep in for the Cure®
Early mornings not your thing or are you not available on race day? Make a great impact on breast cancer while home and in your PJs. Register for Sleep In for the Cure® if you can’t make it to the Race on April 22nd. Snooze the day away in your stylish, but comfy Race T-shirt. Sleep In for the Cure participants who fundraise are able to earn great fundraising rewards. Click here to register.

Please plan to arrive early to allow plenty of time to park and enjoy the expo area. Allow ample time for possible traffic delays and parking entrance lines in the area due to the high volume of vehicles headed to the venue.
Weather conditions are unpredictable and it may be hot and humid on Race morning. Participants should arrive and remain properly hydrated and be prepared to run/walk 5K (3.1 miles).
RAIN OR SHINE
The Komen Greater Fort Worth Race for the Cure will occur rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In the event, there will be no refunds; rather, your entry fee will be considered a donation to the Komen Greater Fort Worth Race for the Cure.
FOR YOUR SAFETY
For the safety of all participants, in-line skates will NOT be allowed on the course. Strollers, baby joggers and wagons are permitted, but you are asked to go to the back of the line for you and other participants safety. Thank you for your cooperation.
New and returning volunteers are encouraged to get involved. The first 250 volunteers to arrive on Race Day will receive a T-shirt in appreciation for their efforts. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed and parking is not included.
